personally i am anti-life though but i don't have a right to impose that on groups of people who think differently.
Some states are already to liberal, which I believe is helping bring about the destruction of society.

How about a 5 year old?
Both can breathe on their own, and can survive without their mother. Both can get by without using their mothers resources to survive.

some people claim that children have "a right to be born." this is bull because in this society CHILDREN DON'T HAVE RIGHTS. As a high school student, i know that on a daily basis the schools don't give anybody freedom of speech, and constantly do unreasonable searches and seizures. so if children are given some rights, at least give them all of the rights.

You really can't compare a school system or a job or even this forum to any form of a self-governing society. Since you claim children do not have rights, does your teacher have the right to end your life? See, children do have rights.

Yes but a 1 month old baby is still not independant, it still needs someone to look after it, and care for it.

I imagine hunger and the satisfaction of being fed are some of the first feelings most humans have.

It can breath on it's own and is no longer using someone elses body for nourishment. That is being independant.
