The government's position is:

It is not your right to do what you want with your body, if you want to put certain forbidden substances in your body that will affect no one else.

It is not your right to do what you want with your body, if you want to kill yourself, unless you are dying soon anyway.

But, interestingly, it is your right to do what you want with your own body, if it will kill someone else (abortion).

3 very different situations, but the question is, do we own our own bodies, or what? And doesn't your right to swing your fists stop an inch short of your baby's nose?

Here's the problem with this argument, other than rape, incest, etc., an unborn child does not just attach itself to a womans body. A woman makes a conscious choice to attach a child to their body through sexual intercourse. Don't want to have babies, don't have sex. The problem I have with abortion is when it is used as a form of birth control. Sex is meant for pro-creation at it's core. Pregnancy, raising children is the price of pro-creation. Many of us are happy to pay this price.

I like how Sharon has run out of a viable argument for defending abortion as moral, and is instead trying to make babies look like leeching criminals.

Even in a case of rape, can you really look me straight in the face and say its the baby's fault?

All I can say is that I hope all of these aborted babies understand. If there's an afterlife, I wouldn't want to meet a baby I had something to do with getting aborted.
