The way I see someone like Julianna does not make me evil.

If everyone jumped off a cliff...
I mean really? That's your defense? That's it? I think that is possibly the most hypocritical thing I have ever read on the internet... and it's the freaking internet... and I've been using it for a while. I have to pick this apart piece by piece because you have managed to fit so much utter crap into such a short post. Quote:
Yes, mostly everyone at some point holds some bigoted views. Once these views are shown for what they are, it's the responsibility of an intelligent person to make an effort to change their illogically prejudice view. So it's okay if it's only a little bit, right? I think that's just a way to make yourself feel better. I think you like to think that your completely illogical prejudice against the physically deformed is somehow more justifiable than, say, a racists feeling for someone of another race. Unfortunately, there is almost no difference between the two. But you're right. I mean some people are more bigoted than others. Some people say, "I don't care what they do, just keep them away from me." Some people say, "They can do what I say, but they'd better not do anything that bothers me, and they'd better steer clear of me." And then there are those people who say, "Those creatures should never have been allowed to have been born." I guess about the only thing worse than the last one would be the people who want to round up all the ones ALREADY born and end their life. I want to say something here. Had you not called her a creature I would trust that you simply thought she would have a hard life and you really didn't think it was right to give birth to a child that would have a hard life. To me though, the minute you dehumanized her, a red flag went up. That suggests to me that you care more about your own disgust with her appearance than you do about the difficulty she will have in life. Quote:

Look, I have a right to my opinions, and I don't have to justify them to anyone.

I'm not. I don't mind being called a bigot, doesn't bother me. But being a bigot does not make one a bad person. Thinking of someone as less than human doesn't make someone a bad person, it's just an opinion, nothing more than that.

You do have a right to your opinion. And of course you don't have to justify it.
Then again, I don't think you could possibly justify it if you tried. It seems pretty unjustifiable to me. I have a right to expect your opinions to have some justification though. I (*)(*)(*)(*) well have a right to point out to you and anyone else reading this just how unjustified I feel your opinion is. That's my right to my opinion, which if you'll notice, I did justify very clearly. You have every right to be a bigot. Same rights as any homophobe, racist, Islamophobe, etc, etc.

If you want me to apologise for saying that, I won't. I don't see something like that as a human.
I could be really insulting but I won't be. I do hold some views that would be consider extremely unfavourable, but I tend to hold back on those because I know how easily people get offended.

I mean look, I'm all for moral relativism, but I tend to think we've come to some acceptable conclusions as to what the human race feels, nearly as a whole, constitutes an utterly unacceptable opinion. Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but I think dehumanizing a person is one of those things that most of the human race has decided we think is "wrong".
