Reading lists can get very long. People suggest so many good books and there are not enough hours in the day. If we read them all we would do nothing else. Brave new world is well written.

I have not actually read the book; I have read quite a few things along the line of "What's so bad about The Brave New World" and opinions and articles about it and know the aspects of the society that are presented in it.

My question to you is, why would you not want to throw up hearing about a society like that?

Other than the main characters, everybody in the society was living in a state of perfect, perpetual happiness. Unfortunately, the very structure of that society is very delicate due to the necessity to scientifically control every aspect of the lives of its populace.
