That "creature" is a human being! using your logic, Stephen Hawking would have likely been aborted and killed before anyone even knew him!

But if a preliminary test would have shown that he would have ALS, the scenario is the same!

What!?!

Even many Pro-choice advocates distinguish between early and late term abortions.
So you are simply saying, if it's in the womb, it's fair game to kill?
Value is determined by an umbilical cord?

A new born is just as dependent on others for survival as an in-utero child.

Wow.

Wow.
A new born does not have to be dependant on the mother for survival.

Many pro choicers place resctrictions on when an abortion should be performed. Many are against late term abortions unless they are necessary, but there are pro choicers - like myself - who support abortion up until birth.

Whats the big deal? I don't agree with your opinions and you don't agree with mine, so I don't see the problem here.

I wouldn't care if I was hated by everyone on the planet, was stuck with knives everyday, and was blind, deaf, and crippled.

I'd still want to live, no matter how painful it would be.

Do you think Lorenzo Odone had any sort of a life?

Adrenoleukodystrophy

Lorenzo Odone

Completely unable to move or speak - what a wonderful life he had, huh?

You are sounding very elitist and spoiled.

The question I posed in the first post in this thread was where someone would draw the line. When would you have an abortion?

I merely posted the information on Lorenzo because some people seem to think that all life, no matter how 'useless' for lack of a better word, is valueble and worthy.
Lorenzo never got a chance to experience life beyond his eight birthday before this disease took over.

Eight years is a hell of a long time.
