Is a seed a tree?

I got this from another site, thought it was interesting.

Lifers say that a fetus is a person, even though it is really only a potential person.
Could we also say that a seed is a tree, when it is really only a potential tree?

It is a seedling when it first starts to grow, is it not? A seeding could equal embryo. Not a tree, but not a seed. Not a fertilised egg, but an embryo.
The point is that the seed will begin to grow into a tree if taken care of, just as the embryo will grow into a fetus, then a person if care if given it.

Nope -- no matter the size, if it's going to grow up and have leaves, it's a tree.

A fetus can't make the decision. It is not a person. The woman is the person She has the right to choose. All this talk of life and unlife is not pertinet until there is truly a court case that hears a case on when life actually starts. If they determine that its 8 mins then women will go back and have back alley abortions. The point is the woman has the right of choice.
