Not at all, the plank of my post is, that children have sex you cannot stop it, I accept that, so is it not better to reduce the side effect by educating them, this would reduce unwanted pregs, and therefore reducing abortions in those cases.

As to waiting lists, are you advocating the increased production of teenage produced "mistakes" "supply and demand"

I believe you sell blood (life blood) in the land of the free, so why not "babies"

I have seen 5 adds in the newspaper where i live for people looking for a child to adopt. They offered to pay for everything and will do whatever is neccesary to adopt. As long as there are people such as this out there, there is no need for abortion.

Most any surgery is gruesome, and I'm sure these photos are. Should we ban surgery, as well, OP?

They are 2 very different choices. Are you suggesting that we should have the ability to choose to do anything we want? If so, open the doors of all prisons.

In other words; choosing to adopt is not the same choice of those that kill their offspring.

Over here we do open the doors to all prisoners who have served there term, we dont have the death penalty! we do like you have legal abortion, so as abortion and adoption are legal, you as a law abiding person have that choice, your analogy re "anything" we want" is spurious, based on my assumption of your belief in democracy and the laws of the land?

Lets take the death penalty I am anti, but I respect the democratic right of the people to have such a law, if I lived in America I would try to change that law by lobbying, not by thread or intimidation or killing the proponents and instruments of that law, and I would respect your constitution with regards to church and state!

I was referring to your point that all choices are the same. As in every prisoner is entitled to choose breaking the law.


The so called "choice" to abort is a violation of another human's rights. Just as the prisoners don't legally have the right to violate others, an inconvenienced mother should not either. Adoption does not violate human rights. Big difference.

Well, some may argue that adoption does violate human rights - because it abandons children to a life with an `unknown'. It's shaky, but some people could say that.

And abortion isn't always about inconvenience. All factors should be taken into consideration when entering into an abortion debate.
