How many racist/flamebait posts do you need to post to get yourself banned ?

The so called rules to this forum! Two of my fav chatters banned! Raymondo and The Third Man, I don't even know what for.

I recieved a few warnings for 'insulting other forum members' but why havent i been banned.

Maybe the mods are just confused with the amount of trolling on his forum. But why not ban everyone.

Why single out my fav chatters, when 90% of this forum trolls the same way.

Besides. No big deal being banned from forums.

Forum secrurity is always crap, Just create new emails, new account. Viola!

But does even the owner to this forum, even know. What a mess it has turned into with the confused banning.

I have to comment that this site seems to be one of the most open-minded forums, although I have to express my disappointment at the close-mindedness of the moderators towards certain sexual political topics. There is a great diversity of different opinions on this site, and it would be unfortunate if this changed. Yes, racist views are allowed.
Yes, pro-Bush/Anti Obama views are allowed.

Hell....incredibly vile (imho) pro-slavery, pro-"kill the homos", pro Jews are the cause of all evil and "every Muslim is a terrorist" ARE ALLOWED.

Because (follow me here) views, don't equal facts and everyone is entitled to their very own opinions.
Then folks get to come along and debate them/discuss with them and either wind up agreeing/disagreeing or just, frustrated as hell.

It's why it's a debate site.

And I used to say this all the time and will say it again.

I am, always have been, always will be FOR allowing those with...let's say....racist based/homophobic based/anti-Jewish based, Anti-Muslim based...etc... views to POST those views.

Know why?
Because when I see their speech protected, I know mine is too.
That simple.

I can (and have) started threads in the past "speaking" of being Christian and gay....being liberal and pro-military....being liberal minded, but not following a "liberal agenda"

I'm allowed to say pretty much whatever I want, as long as I'm not insulting people or deliberately trying to start a flame war----and I know there are Mods/other members who don't agree with hardly anything I type.

My protected speech is "their" protected speech.

Ta.Da.

By the same token, an understanding of what has transpired has to be appreciated.

When a person is bludgeoned into silence because they oppose certain views of the ones bludgeoning. This is the tactical approach that has made gain for those bludgeoning, for decades now.

What is experienced on PF, is exactly that same tactical dynamic. The understanding part I mentioned, is that...they do this because that tactic has worked for them in the much broader scale, so of course they are going make the application of that tactic here.

Society (IMO) is growing weary of this, and those who espouse this tactic are close to wearing out their welcome.

This is by far the BEST political forum on the web. period. No where else can I get the straight honest reactions from posters. People speak their minds here and that's how it should be. I applaud the Mods for not banning those that have deep concerns about issues. I appreciate the various opinions, chides, insults and innuendos. It makes for great topics for debate. People are open to various views here and I like that.

Now if you want total Gustapo retratint then I suggest you head over to City-Data if you don't like it here. They will definitely stifle your opinions and ban you for the slightest remark outside of the political correctness realm of ignorance. You want people to be shutdown everytime they have an opposing view or opinion than yours, go there. they will welcome you with open arms.

I been in topics denouncing racism, where racists proclaim loudly they have freedom of speech to say what they like.

But i am on 3 warnings for 'insulting other chatters'

Now if i was a 'racist' would i be protected on this forum? Is that how it works.

How about try not to insult the chatter but instead insult theri comments like this

"Your comments don't make any sense whatsoever" instead of "You idiot!,moron!"

I got warnings for doing it wrong too. but I learned fast how to do it right.

I find it revealing that it is the White progressives that are the most offended by racism, not the minorities themselves!
I would be much more considerate and try to be less offensive if the complaints were not primarily coming from Whites. But they are. I suspect progressives do not really care so much about minorities, they are just being used as political pawns.
