Why have you spent $250 on security for your computer when it was a web based email account that was supposedly hacked? What did you actually buy that costs that much money to secure your computer? After having my debit card phished for 3800 bucks* I began using a few security measures other than the obvious software.

*(the bank a home town bank gave me most of it back even though by law they did not have to)

Now most of you probably already use these, which are two of my favs;

(1).. I never never ever (well almost never) use my credit card or bank cards ie ATMs nor checks for online purchases. I use those 'disposable cards'. When I MUST use a real debit or credit card I use the regular ATM VISA, however its from a different bank where I keep most of my real money at. Usually there is I rarely less than a hundred that checking account. I keep my payroll and donations to the church and missions, which are starvation modest in another account in a separate bank. If I make a larger purchase I deposit the money in the exact amount of purchase.

(2)..This is a easy way to catch liars and sellers of your info even though they have a disclaimer saying they NEVER sell your info. Yeah right! Anyway my name is Greg in real life. I never use my real name and add a few letters to it, like Greggie. Then if I get a email that has Greggie in the address line I know whats going on...

Any Israeli who doesn't appreciate criticism of Israel is Mossad now? Then what are the many US people who don't appreciate criticism of US? Madoss? Nobody likes criticism of their own country. It doesn't make everyone Secret Squirrels by definition.

If Mossad is here I love it, ha ha! Out of all the spooks I like them the most. However if this hacking thing was done by the CIA or Mossad etc we wouldn't know it even happened!

My MOS was PsyOps (37F in today's army). When I was active service the web was not nearly as sophisticated as it is now but my army AIT schooling interested me in the spooky stuff. While researching the neat stuff I read about the not so secret creepies. For example a highly advanced 'spider'. A regular spider is web crawler that feeds search engines, however a military spider feeds NSA etc computer data bases. When this spider hits on special words or series of words it alerts the agencies in direct proportion to the risk.

So I am careful in what I say and what words I use which brings me back to the first part of my post. If Mossad or the NSA wanted to survel us (use Surveillance), I highly doubt we would know it. I think if PF was hacked it was a POed off moderator or staff etc that wanted revenge. Personally I am through with the spookey stuff because PF is running wonderfully fast, and I am sending another modest donation, thanks Mod guys!
