Thread: Ask a Taiwanese anything

Going through the forums, there seems to be a lot (and emphasis on a lot) of ignorance about China, Taiwan, and Asia in general. Most of you have never even visited there let alone lived there.

So go ahead, ask me anything. I was born in Taiwan.

I'll do my best to explain and represent Asia and dispel any myth.

Since the main ingredient of "Moo Goo Gai Pan" is chicken, not cow.... wouldnt it make more sense to call it "Bokbok Bok Gai Pan"?

Uh. Dunno why they call it that either. Moo goo doesn't sound like any word I know in Chinese.

I would like to ask the Tiwan people if they have any Jewish news media and broadcast media companies? How many ?

No, as far as we know anyway, the main media outlets are either local or Hong Kong based. Though most cable company also have CNN if that counts.

Would the Taiwanese people fight and die for their freedom it things came to war?

How did Taiwan manage to get so many cute girls onto such a small island?
