Organizers for the 2008 Olympics in China have released their list of items banned from the Olympic village where the athletes will stay.
Among the "prohibited objects" -- Bibles.
The Catholic News Agency reports that the committee behind the Beijing games cited "security reasons" for the ban.
Athletes are also prohibited from bearing any kind of religious symbol at Olympic facilities.

what a bold move. This on top of all the other crap the Chinese are pulling. We should push for accommodations and other positive changes from their government. If the response is apathetic, we should at least make public threats about not attending the ’08 Olympics.

Lol! Yeah they also have banned all Freedoms and clean water.

China's kinda a "different equation" - they've been conquered by everyone and everything, at one point or another, and yet they're still China - I mean, the largest nation on the planet, right?
But yeah - this is the way to win friends and influence people, right?

"Boycott your neighbors...."

Could you imagine that? Being on someone else turf and telling them what a freakin' pigsty their house is? Like, walking into the Puerto Rican section talkin' big sh** about how all those dumb spics are just genetically inferior 'n all..... know what I'm sayin'?

Yuk yuk... you know, that would be like the big drunk guy with the red nose, raising a row at the Saudi Hilton, 'cause he can't get a miniature of whisky delivered to his room.... "What? you call this
service? ....."
