Default China blankets Tibetan areas with troops

Quote:
ZHONGDIAN, China - China blanketed restive Tibetan areas Thursday with a huge buildup of troops, turning small towns across a wide swath of western China into armed encampments.

Beijing acknowledged that last week's anti-government protests had spread far beyond Tibet's borders and that police opened fire on protesters. It warned foreign tourists and journalists to stay away from a huge expanse of territory across four provinces

The Chinese government is definitely evil. They want to conceal the truth of all the evil acts they've committed in Tibet. They want to pretend as if it really is part of China, to increase their power and territory. Hopefully, it will backfire on them one day. The world knows the truth. Maybe if enough of the Chinese people learn the truth, things will change.

Interesting that it spread outside of Tibet. Does that mean these other people are protesting something else or are Han Chinese protesting the treatment of Tibet?

Anybody know if any western satellite phone network reaches into China? I wonder if it would be possible to have our media or somebody slip Chinese people satellite camera phones. Only way to block those things is to take out the satellite or confiscate the phone.

AFAIK its in regiosn right up against Tibet. So probably Tibetans and perhaps others. I haven't seen anything(yet) showing this getting anywhere near the East/Pacific parts of China.

There are alot of Ethnicities in "China" and many of them don't like the "chinese" ones much.
