Default Nine soldiers die in Afghanistan. Cheney said what??

Nine U.S. Soldiers Killed in Firefight
Insurgents Attack E. Afghanistan Base

Washington Post Foreign Service
Monday, July 14, 2008; Page A01

KUNDUZ, Afghanistan, July 13 -- Nine U.S. soldiers were killed in heavy fighting Sunday at a military base in eastern Afghanistan near the Pakistani border, according to a Western official. The attack was the deadliest against U.S. forces in the country since 2005.

It would appear that Cheney's "FEW DEADENDERS IN THEIR LAST THROES" have moved from Iraq back to Afghanistan where the real battle is.

Mind you I am no supporter of the Cheenys in fact I think that they are basically vicious and bottom feeding slugs but I like to deal with the truth. what was really troubling about the account of that action (other than our soldiers' deaths) was that at least 20 families of the resident population discreetly left their dwellings to enable aq to make the assault

looks like we have pissed in their corn flakes, too and the general population is now willing to expose our troops to harm

shades of viet nam

I have felt that we messed up in Afghanistan almost as soon as we went into Iraq.

What Afghanistan shows is The Srub's inattention to the real war on terror. While that Einstein got us bogged down in Iraq the Taliban has made a resuggence in Afghanistan !!

Nice work there Mr. Mission Acomplished !!!!! He has been listening the Lynn and Dicko Chenney way too much!!!!

Brilliant deduction.
Al Quaeda's US sanctioned sanctuary in Pakistan = Taliban's resurgence in Afghanistan.
Brilliant.
