...the gutless IOC say's there's nothing they can do about it.
I can think of a few things! Both promised there would be open internet operation during the games, and now they cave. China should not be allowed to have the games, and the IOC should be completely cleaned out with new personel installed that have the original purpose of the games in mind. |

And the IOC would believe anything the Chinese government said because.....?
No matter. I won't be watching the Olympics anyway. I was seriously scarred from when I was living in LA in '84. I think that experience will be with me forever. Too many people, too much traffic, too much hype and too much wasted money. I lived about a mile from the Archery arena....who would have thunk that Archery was so popular?! |

Doesn't bother me, I won't be watching much of the Olympics anyway - although I say that now when I will likely be glued to the TV, lol.
