Thread: Greece seems to get blamed for everything these days.

  1. Default Greece seems to get blamed for everything these days.

I find it very strange how almost all down falls around the world seemed to be blamed on Greece.

Greece will bring the downfall of the EU economy.

Greece will bring the downfall of the US economy.

Greece is even blamed for downfall of Drambuie sales.

    FFS

Can such a little economy really have such a big impact?

If the IMF is dumb enough to give Greece billions of dollars it just creates out of thin air and Greece defaults, then why should this bring down economies.

Its not as though the IMF actually loses its billions of dollars that it creates out of thin air is it?

I mean the money doesn't even exist right, from my understanding.

So how can this bring down economies, when you're using monopoly money or IOU's to start with??

I mean the IMF giving out money, thats like recieving an IOU with the liscence to print your own money.

From my understanding if Greece won tattslotto and paid of her debts to the IMF thats about the only real money the IMF would have.

How dumb is this catapalistic system?

Or can anyone of you explain it abit better to me.

The world, especially the US needs a wiping boy. I suppose Greece is the one.

The IMF has down graded Australia's growth forecast from 3% to 1.5%.

I only have one question here!!!!???

How the hell does the IMF know what Australia's forecast will be?

If they do know that means that they have privy to Australian sensitive information, otherwise how can they dictate to us what our growth will be?

As a matter of fact how can they tell the world that were in danger of a global recession who the (*)(*)(*)(*) are these guys???????

And most important why do we and the rest of the world listen to them!!!???

If the IMF didn't exist or we and the rest of the world paid no attention to their ramblings this world would be a better place imo.

One thing is for sure the world's economy can do without organisations like the IMF.
