Could you provide one single reason why you think Wilkie's pokie reforms are a bad idea?

    Just one?

This is the 3rd time you have been asked now? Why is it so hard to answer?

You have implied in the OP that there is some sort of conspiracy involving the ABC and the poker machine reform proposals. Why? Isn't is just a simple fact that most people see pokie reform as a very good idea?

No conspiracy theory is necessary really. Unless you think poker machine reform is not a good idea - but you have been asked 3 times now to explain why someone would think this, but you appear incapable of answering

    MEGA FAIL
The internet is like a herd of performing elephants with diarrhoea -- massive, difficult to redirect, awe-inspiring, entertaining, and a source of mind- boggling amounts of excrement when you least expect it.

No - the question wasn't answered.

aussiefree2ride has avoided the question everytime he was asked.

And you just spouted some nonsense you made up about pre-commitment levels for the high-impact machines somehow impacting upon junior sport. Making stuff doesn't really count. (You can ask your mate Bolty about that.)

You are going around in circles, stick to the topic. The topic FYO is, the weak ALP fed gov is pandering to Wilke, the ABC is pandering to the ALP. The incredibly simple plot is, referring once again to the story in the OP, if poker machines were totally totally banned, problem gamblers would still be at the mercy of criminal gangs. It`s very simple really, but the thrust of the topic is the amazing convenience of this story being aired by the ABC, just when this pathetic ALP fed gov is on the ropes.

Think about it. Please try not to embarrass yourself with feeble little side steps.

Hey you guys imo we are being conditioned to gambling.

Watch some footy on tv and you are bombarted with betting odds etc.

As a matter of fact watch any sporting event and there are the odds who will do this and that and what not.

For starters imo we should ban the advertising of gambling on tv, i think some that haven't caught the gambling bug might be saved this way.

As for the ones infected its probably harder to break than heroin addiction.

In the early years of life i had a mate who would work hard all week and come payday just pump his 40 hour effort into pokies and horses, all within a day so after pay day he was broke again, dont know what happened to him since any sort of reason as to why he shouldn't be doing that ending in arguements and heated exchanges.

But that threw me right of gambling, i may buy a tatts ticket once a month and play on the melbourne cup, but hey that money is for throwing away, i dont bet to become a millionaire or to end all my problems its just for fun.

I say a good start is to get gambling ads of TV.
There has never been a more serious assault on our standard of living than the carbon tax. dumbanddumber

"The cost, paid by big polluters, will be passed through to the prices of the goods you buy." Julia Gillard

"Australian households will ultimately bear the full cost of the carbon price." Ross Garnaut

I agree with what you say D&D, however, our national broadcaster shouldn`t be used as a political tool, for either party.
