What an amazing coincidence! The ALP Fed Gov is in crisis mode, particularly over the poker machine issue, and low and behold, this turns up! How convenient! These people are pathetic. Or am I just being synical?

The Problem Gambler Poker Machine Legislation....whatever its being called
shouldnt even be in existence.....its a one man band run by Independent
Member Mr Wilkie....since when can one man have so much power....
sorry I forgot Gillards in his pocket.......and yes...what a coincidence
that the ABC runs this gig.........

I've seen a few of the presenters on ABC TV with blatant differences in treatment of guest based on there political beliefs. One of the ladies was caught by an early cross back to here making a mocking laugh to her cohost whilst a Liberal guest was speaking on a rather non-controversial topic. I've seen one their males hosts get red in the face with furry asking the same question over and over, because he couldnt get the answer he wanted in the phrase he wanted from a Liberal guest to a caged question, even though the answers being given were accurate and concise.... and yet the same people with ALP guests are all laugh and just repeat the guests speech as part of the next question so its like a coach ride.

The problem with TV is as long as someone is on the channel it goes straight into their brain irregardless of how much attention they are actually giving it. I think there is a real TV bias in favor of the ALP on all channels except for the Bolt report - which only exists as a reaction to what Im talking about. Whilst Murdoch might lean right and own lots of newspapers, most people do not listen to AM radio and most people do not pay much attention to newspaper - wheras TV influences people much more.

Ahh, yes. The Bolt report. I fail to see how anyone could aplaud he recent court decision against Bolt. Although Bolt left himself open to criticism by letting his guard down in his research, the spirit of his report on "white aborigines" cashing in on aboriginal aid funding is spot on.

The ABC has always been heavily biased in favour of Labor and anti conservative. They and SBS are virtually Labor campaign agents.

"the spirit of his report"?!?!? You mean defamatory statements?

The racist got caught breaking the law. It is sad other racists want to defend him.

Could you provide one single reason why you think Wilkie's pokie reforms are a bad idea?

    Just one?

    (BTW - "it is "cynical")
