    Default CHOGM - Perth

    800 extra Police in Perth at the moment, and fighter jets are flying over the city (along with helicopters).

    Police are on every corner, and streets are barricaded.

    And yesterday, a "suspicious package" was found just near my office:

    "The package was found at the corner of St George's Terrace and Barrack Street, within the special security zone established for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, about 4.30pm."

    I'm just looking forward to this long weekend, so that I can have a sovereign sausage sizzle.

    Perth has lots of pudgy white guys with manboobs (I'll just call them all Steven)

    Liz arrived yesterday at 5pm, and I even got a little wave as she pulled into Government House. Nice

    Today: Afternoon Tea at 4pm in the grounds of Government House with Liz and Phil.
