For most butchers, sure I'll pay that - but not for operators of a factory farm, or most centers of mass produced food.

    No, they cant.

Look I will say that I believe we could clean up the slaughtering process. Maybe my steak won't be as tough if the beasts are less stressed, however I still don't understand the correlation you are trying to make with these budding psychopaths. The slaughtering process can and should be enhanced to make it more humane, but still it is a far reach to place it in the same category of the cruelty that these imbeciles enacted on that animal.

He's more of a conservative parody of a progressive than anything else.

Defends pedophilia, forced abortions in China, killing children after they are born, claims he'd be okay with his mom aborting him if it was "in her interests", etc

But has a problem with innocent cows being slaughtered, a child molester getting beat up - nope, he's not for real.

No ,I believe I understand your point . But assuming that Ozzers behave reasonably ,( likely , given their Team GB Genes ) , I imagine that their Abattoir rules are as strict and considerate as our own . Certainly I trust they are , or her Gracious Majesties serious displeasure will be incurred .In which case , I don't think you can accuse the workers of being involved in a needlessly cruel process .And certainly not brutal .
However , I rather think the real Mister Magoo needs answering .
He has clearly pinned you into a corner through persuasive intellect and sheer analysis , to leave you gasping for oxygen .Your very reputation is now questioned despite his use of the misspelt Tosser theory .
Now that's a brutal use of our glorious language . So may be he also should be led to the Abattoir for corrective treatment .

Some amazing levels of stupidity here. No "intelect", so feeble, as to be incapable of grasping the point of the OP, has anything to contribute to society. The obvious question that arises from this topic, may well be above the grasp of the cogitative powers of the simpler forms of bacteria, nevertheless needs to be addressed.

For starters, cattle at the slaughter house get beheaded - painless. This calf died a long and painful death.

I don’t believe for second any method of killing would be completely painless, but I believe euthanasia “should” be adopted in all slaughter houses to the prevent animals unnecessarily suffering. We need to start being more humane, compassionate and respectful for the animal we consume!!

Stoning that calf to death was the act of “psychotic” behaviour and their parents should be extremely concerned, because this is NOT normal behaviour.

Its time the punishment started to fit the crime in this country, instead of these worthless morons getting a slap on the wrist; a fine, or some community service they probably won't end up doing.

Can we afford to ignore the warning signals? Apart from the obvious revulsion to this cowardly act, this should send a send us a clear warning that these individuals represent unacceptable risks in the future. They should NOT be allowed into society until it can be 100% proven that they can be trusted.
Hmmmmmm - and if it was YOUR drunk 16 year old son who, because he was there, now will have a criminal record and maybe spend time in jail??

    What then??

Though I do agree that the lack of empathy is horrendous and should be discouraged
