Thread: Calf Stoned To Death

Serial killing cannibal zombies start on torturing animals before they move onto humans. There is absolutely no reason to behave in this manner and there is more than no reason for the rest of us to be forced to live with it.

Stoning that calf to death was the act of “psychotic” behaviour and their parents should be extremely concerned, because this is NOT normal behaviour.

Its time the punishment started to fit the crime in this country, instead of these worthless morons getting a slap on the wrist; a fine, or some community service they probably won't end up doing.
Not only is it empathetic to demand quick and stress free death but it gives a better flavour to the meat (and I am only half joking with that comment - apparently if the animal is stressed too badly the meat tastes differently - especially with 'Roo)

But as for the perpetrators.................. .. see I do not necessarily agree with landing a 16 year old with a criminal record that will follow them through life - neither do I think that jail time will engender the degree of empathy we would want these perpetrators to learn or acquire if they are to join society.

So we have a dilemma - how to engender empathy and consideration for other beings in this group of people.

Personally if I were in charge of punishment I would opt for corporal punishment - something along the lines of flaying with added salt - but then I am not always a nice person

LOL. You might be like Santa Clause delivering a nice parcel that has a dirty bomb in it. LOL.

Invariably a group like this is led by one psychotic individual who dominates the others in a mesmerising way. This individual would be the leader and should be identified for special treatment. The others should be made to do hours in an RSPCA shelter where they can learn empathy and atone for their wrongs. As for the psycho, I don't really care as it has been proven that the sociopaths of this world are beyond help and re offend regularly with disastrous results. First an animal then a child.

In the U.S. it is a serious crime to torture animals.
    Especially here in Alabama.

We just had some fool skin a dog alive and left it to suffer in its owners yard.

Whoever did it will get no sympathy. It is a felony and he will get at least five years in prison.
The truth is neither right or left...it is the truth.

The problem in Australia, is that since the bleeding hearts, do-gooders...call them what you like, decided that
rehabilitation instead of punishment was the way to go..the courts have become weak gutted, and all these offenders
will get will be a slap on the wrist...but then again, thats Australia...we are so soft in many areas...but thats another
story...if I was on the bench, I would give them the maximum...but that would only be minimal, as ...guess what...
the legislators are also soft.....maybe we should get megatossa to write the laws.....well, maybe not....

Yes but that does bring into play the idea of pre-emptive punishment and I am not sure any society should go that route

Meanwhile coating with honey and staking out on a ant-hill sounds good - especially if it a "bull ant" hill (note to political Centre Australia has some really nasty biting ants)

The punishment should fit the crime...that would work...now I am going to have to google bull ants!

Not really sure I am against pre emptive punishment. Truth is I haven't really given it much thought. I just wonder if a budding crim knew they would get ten years jail for bashing a pensioner and stealing their money, would they give it more thought ? Recently in my town an old bloke got bashed leaving the supermarket and had forty dollars stolen. The culprits were only 15 and got community service and no conviction recorded. Last week the same offenders broke into an old lasts place and graffitied all the walls and smashed all her old photos, made a real mess. She locked herself in the bathroom and hoped for the best. A neigh or called the police and they were caught. Two hours later they were out and smashed two shop windows. This easy on approach we have had for a while now just isn't working. Perhaps pre emptive punishment might serve a purpose for the big picture. Don't know. Interesting topic though.
