Nah actually what he said is accurate. Beattie and Bligh got more money from the Federal Libs then QLD had ever gotten before and those state ALP governments seemed historically incompetant so much that I think they both should be studied as worse case examples of how to run a state! Though it sounds like the same thing happens everytime an ALP government gets put in power....

The power structure of the ALP, and their performance credentials are completely wrong for effective governance. Firstly, re their power structure. It`s not possible to govern with so many back room fingers in the pie. Secondly, union staff & lawyers only need to break things, not maintain, build, or fix them.
