Unpatriotic traitors should pay an additional tax surcharge every financial year - say 25%. That should cover my medical insurance rather nicely

I see,
so you are against welfare for the needy and the poor.

BUT say nothing about the where the bulk of government handouts and welfare is directed towards.

CORPORATE WELFARE - hand outs to the rich. Thats were 84% of government sunsidies and welfare goes.

Remember the recent economic debacle in the USA?

Why did the socialist Busg regime in Washington punp almost 1 trillion dollars into the financial markets to bails out inneficient and corrupt corporations and the SO CALLED FREE MARKET!

Why were Givernment bonds swapped for credit to PRIVATE BANKS in the USA?

CORPORATE WELFARE FOR THE TOP END OF TOWN!

THATS HOW IT WORKS! always worked that way.

are you that brainwashed with US propaganda about free markets, and democracy and the eifficiency of private corporations that you cant see the end of your nose?

It would seem so!

How much is a ticket to the USA nowadays?

Beware though, YOU will have to provide finger prints, eye scans and maybe even an arse wipe scan to get into the USA now!

Welcome to USA - the land of the FREE

GOD BLESS AMERICA

Karl Marx would be proud of the way George Bush is propping up the inneficient and NON-free market in the US today.

over 1 trillion dollars to corrupt and innefficient US corporations.

If the US beleived in free markets it would allow these companies to fend for themselves or GO UNDER and let someone better to have a go.

Thats what free market principles entail.

BUT there is no free market operating in the USA today.

The republican party is a communist part, Bush is a quasi-fascist provisional socialist.

According to the Cato Institute, the U.S. federal government spent $92 billion on corporate welfare during fiscal year 2006. Recipients included Boeing, Xerox, IBM, Motorola, Dow Chemical, and General Electric
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporate_welfare

All up, it is estimated that between federal, state territory and local governments around $14billion is spent propping up business in Australia.

well the ENTIRE private corporate system and financial system in the USA is propped up by tax payers money. Its called all sorts of things such as financial stimulus packages and joint ventures, but the bottom line is that this CORPORATE WELFARE.

And when things are going bad in the economy, the corporate welfare programs get even bigger.

This happens in EVERY nation - it protects its industries and commercial sectors by using SOCIALISTIC MARXIST principles.

You see my friend, THERE ARE NO FREE MARKETS.

IF the US beleived in FREE MARKET PHILOSOPHIES it wouldnt sign these free-trade agreements with spicific countries (NAFTA etc). In fact Australia just signed a free trade agreement with the USA under the corrupt Howard government.

After this agreement was signed within 6 months, the 3 major commercial television networks were taken over by private equity groups. The 7 and 9 networks are now controlled from New York by private equity groups. The 10 Network is controlled by a Canadian private equity group.

Also within 2 years of this agreement, the states of Victoria and NSW have relinguished their NON-GM foods status and introduced Genetically modified Canolla into their agricultural systems.

Bug US drug comapnies and private insurance companies want to lobby Canberra to control big chunks of the Asutralian health system. And we all know what that means - EXPENSIVE DRUGS, EXPENSIVE INSURANCE, and profits heading out of Australia into the pockets of private investors overseas.

All this was done by the Liberal party executive without the conscent of the Australian people or their own liberal party membership.

And remember when Howard announced his silly little plan of building 20 nuclear power plants all over Australia. (6 months after the free trade agreement was signed between the US and Australia).

And who are the biggest trading partners for Australia? NOT THE USA.

Its China and Japan!

You can understand why the USA tries to enter certian markets with an advantage by putting together these ridiculous FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS (which actually violates the spirit of the World Trade Organisation and competition rules)

This is the tip of the iceberg as far as Corporate handouts and welfare is concerned in the USA.

You are correct that corporate welfare programs are just part of the way Congress works each financial year.

The recent turmoil in the US financial markets and banking systems has seen almost 1 trillion dollars of bail outs and SO CALLED stimulus packages (we all know what that means - code for welfare and free loans, all paid by the tax payer)

And the sad thing is WHEN the Katrina victims in New Orleans asked for assistance to rebuild their lives, they were slapped in the face by Washington and told "them are the breaks - its an act of GOD)

GOD BLESS AMERICA
