But "Neither" isn't an option. I though "neithOr" might be the name of some new Channel 10 show involving fat celebrities locked in a house and dancing on ice, or something like that

American TV is abysmal.

(apart from The Simpsons and South Park, of course)

No - some of the comedy is OK (I haven't heard of the stuff you mention) - ie Seinfeld, Simpson, South Park - and older shows like Get Smart and Hogans Heroes. (though why did they do an American remake of The Office?!?!? That is awful)

It is all the CSI crap, and police or lawyer shows I cant stand

I don't mind CSI, but it's no so often I'm sick of it. I like lawyer shows and police shows like Law and Order, but I really cannot stand American comedy. I don't think they are that funny, to be honest.

M*A*S*H is not that bad a show, I've been watching it lately and it does make me laugh.

No need for that, because you guys already are. I love Australia; beautiful country. I felt totally at home there. My only complaint is that you guys drive on the wrong side of the road. Outside of that and the accents, it was no different than visiting most US cities.

OMG are you serious? Neither, under any circumstances.

There's heaps of good Australian tv - if you like to watch channels other than 7, 9 or 10.

There's even some really good Australian series on the commercial channels. But I suppose Home and Away and Neighbours come on after A Current Affair and Today Tonight, so it's a natural progression for much of the Australian viewing public...
