I don't necessarily want to see him released, but he has every right to apply for parole. He is able to apply in 2014, and if the courts never wanted him released, they should have marked his file as such, instead of leaving the door open for him to apply.

He has the legal right to apply for parole, and is taking Rob Hulls to court because he is not being treated like every other convicted killer. Fair enough. He should be treated the same as the others, and if he was able to apply for parole, he has the right to, no matter what anyone thinks.

If the parole board allows him to go free then he should be allowed to. You would always expect the vitims of crime to want crims locked away until they die but our jails would be kaos if no-one was ever released.
The government needs to send him somewhere with a new identity and just keep and eye on him.
