This is my blog. In it I will just post about random stuff, and maybe some serious stuff as well. Happy reading!
Craig and I only met up once. He wanted to meet up again but he kept pushing me, saying that 'we aren't getting any younger' and that we should just get on with it and see if there were any sparks. He basically meant that we should start a serious relationship and see what happened. He didn't seem to understand that I didn't want to have sex with someone only to decide I didn't like them, I had to love the person first. No matter how many times I tried to explain that he kept saying that same thing ...
Today I went on a date. With a boy. I know, shocking. But it was good, and we are meeting up again. His name is Craig and he is the cousin of a guy I went to school with. His cousin is married to a former McDonalds manager, so its a small world! We went to the pub for a meal, then went to see Prometheus, which was quite good. We hope to meet up again next week, when I will hopefully travel to Melbourne to meet him, then we will catch the tram and go to the zoo. I'll have ...
Is there a woman out there who has not heard of this book? I have just started reading the first in the trilogy (I bought them a few months ago, before they started selling like hotcakes) and I am already hooked. Christian already comes across as being very controlling, and you can already tell its going to get worse for Ana, but she is so blind to his dangers. All she sees is how handsome he looks and how badly she wants to bed him. ...
A man was one of several CFA volunteers to helped to rescue an elderly lady from her burning home on Black Saturday, and was jailed a few months later for a shocking attack on his partner, which she believes caused her to miscarry. He was awarded with a medal for bravery, but after protests from his former partner, and the public, he was stripped of his award: A WIFE-basher has been stripped of his medal for his heroics on Black Saturday. The Royal Humane Society ...
I was in Kmart the other day, searching for a book, which I was frustrated not to find. I thought I'd check out the DVD's before I left, and was lucky to find a copy of 'Titanic' - the new version, written by Julian Fellowes (the writer of Downton Abby) for just $13. I took it to the counter where it scanned for $29. I told the lady it was only $13 - it was on a shelf with about ten other copies of the film. She called a young man over ...
I have never been drunk, and have never intended to allow myself to get wasted. I think getting drunk is pretty much the dumbest thing you could do. Its why so many women wake up in bed next to a strange man and assume they were raped. Its why people get into fights and get into their cars and drive, then end up crashing into a tree or something. How many women end up pregnant from a one night stand, which would never have resulted had they been sober? I could never allow myself to be so ...
We have most of my stuff out of the house, just need to find a place to fit it all at mum and dads place! We spent all day yesterday and all day today cleaning the flat from top to bottom. Its nearly all done, just need dad to get his van on the road so we can take the exercise bike, the chair, fridge and washing machine. Mum suggested we leave the fridge and see if the new tenant would like it, and they'd just pay us a hundred dollars or so for it. We have to get everything out by ...
When I move back home next weekend, and after my bills are paid, I am going to buy a Hyundai i30. It'll take me at least two years to pay off the loan, but I'll manage. I need a new car, anyway. My little Ford has done close to 200,000 thousand kilometres and won't last much longer. I have been desperate for an i30 since before they even came on the market. I remember reading the paper, and flicking through the Cars Guide (good thing I did, too!) and I saw this new car which was about to ...
