Poor Bleeders!

Rating: 2 votes, 4.50 average.
A global super-rich elite had at least $21 trillion (£13tn) hidden in secret tax havens by the end of 2010, according to a major study. The figure is equivalent to the size of the US and Japanese economies combined. The Price of Offshore Revisited was written by James Henry, former chief economist at the consultancy McKinsey, and commissioned by the Tax Justice Network. He said $21tn is a conservative figure and the true scale could be $32tn

We've always known that tax dodging is a significant issue and it assuredly won't disappear with any morality-led humph. The interesting issue, however, is the extent that the gains available have been further inflamed through neo-liberalism and the anti-individualism allowed by right winger gullibility

I'm effectively asking a question whilst also highlighting the attack on individualism (i.e. strengthening of class divides) initiated by the right wing. You can refer to either, but put some effort in it!

I don't know much about it. I suppose if the super rich around the world are hoarding money, it should be revealed and punished. Is that the gist of the story?

No. There's mere fact in the story. The punishment is on Joe Public, given the increased income inequalities are an open assault on individualism
