Which political party is better for small business owners as far as tax cuts and working capital interest?

Neither party is better. If you want to understand why, read the following:

Default Hey Folks

Well, I read a good portion of the link truth-bringer provided and have concluded my opinion that although much of it is true, much of it is hogwash and/or does not provide the other side of the issue.

Money is a very complicated issue, more complicated than that but I haven't the opinion I once had because I've forgotten much of what I used to know about the problem with money. Anyhow, as for government finances by theory, I strongly believe the Republicans are far wiser and have a better finance theory. Their theory is that taxes are a burden. They hamper businesses and slow the economy. High taxes hinder businesses from investing and hiring new employees even though the government would have a lot of money. The Republican argument is that if you don't tax businesses tremendously, they will have more money to spend and will expand and therefore make more money. This in turn would increase the tax revenues even though they were lower to begin with. Ofcourse this can only work if the government is shrunk so it doesn't suck up a lot of excess tax revenue on silly programs. All in all, I'd say the Republicans are more sharp in business and more thrifty. However there are of course things that happen that screw this up. War screws this up which almost always leads to an increase in the national debt. Republicans will scale down the government to make the best use of the money but if a war hits when the economy is doing bad, their policy will surely increase the debt. What they can hope to do is suck up the debt until the tax-cuts begin to bring in a tax surplus which will help chip away the debt. That is if the war is going well or almost over, therefore spending is mostly over.

Anyway, I think the democratic theory of raising the taxes and opening the doors of new programs is foolish and destructive. It's good to do when it is agreed that it is severely in the best interest of the country to pay-off the debt and expel the deficit but this is hardly the case. What they always do now adays is tax the daylights out of the public so they recieve more than enough tax revenues to pay off the national debt which they use to slow down the economy and then open welfare-related programs to 'help' people who would have had a job if the (*)(*)(*)(*) government didn't strangle all the businesses. Democrats are now also using this theory to promote their socialist agenda. They want an inferior national health care program that will cost a tremendous amount of money and continue to cost more I predict indefinately. I don't like this and am against it. Not to mention that the government often LOSES a lot of money it can't account for or wastes it rediculously. I believe people should be able to keep their money, especially when the (*)(*)(*)(*) realestate is so expensive which the taxes will kill you alone. God know that private industry can spend money better and has a better credit rating than the government.

We are bipartisan though, so there has to be.

Are either of them a "good" party? That's arguable.

Should we change to a multiparty PR system? Meh, too much work, too little benefits.

Default Money is not complicated

No, it's not. It's actually a very simple issue, and the Founders recognized this. The issue is about freedom.

If the legal tender laws were repealed tomorrow, nobody with half a brain would use Federal Reserve Notes because they have no intrinsic value. The only thing that gives them value is the government's threat to use force against you if you don't accept them as money. Meanwhile, inflation has destroyed much of the value of the dollar and will only continue to do so as the government continuously prints more worthless fiat currency.

If you want to understand the details of the money issue, take the time to read the following:

Default Money

I like money, its all colourful and nice looking. I like Loonies and Toonies too, the Toonie especially because it has a really fat polar bear on it.

US money looks like garbage, no wonder you don't like it.

Default Another vote for "neither"

I love all this "bipartisan" talk. The only reason our government is "bipartisan" is because the media has successfully brainwashed the ignorant sheep of this country into thinking that solutions to all questions boil down to either the Democrats or Republicans. Black or white. Right or wrong. Who was it that said we were forced to choose between "tweedle-dee" and "tweedle-dum?"

The truth is, the party that is best for small business is the Libertarian party. The libertarians are the ones preaching the Fair Tax plan. The libertarians are the ones preaching for less government intrusion. The libertarians are the ones preaching for better fiscal responsibility.

It's pretty obvious that the Democrats have morphed into a neo-socialist party, and the Republicans have turned into a not-so-socialist version of the Democratic party. Politicians from both sides are irreversibly corrupt. Both sides view party power as far more important than national security, and they arrogantly abuse this country, like pawns in their private little chess match.

The sad part of it is...if you were to poll all Americans, across the board, on where they stand on every issue, close to 60% of them would ultimately fall under the Libertarian party. Unfortunately, through strategic manipulation of the media, both these fat and corrupt parties will strive to completely snuff out any other party that attempts to cut into their little chess game.

Brilliant post and an accurate assessment of the current situation. Glad to see another Libertarian on board. You need to hang out here more often.
