Default Winnie Mandela not allowed in canada

Seeing how canada is, one would think they'd all stick their tongues out in a neat row so as to make a red carpet for her to walk on!

Not sure why the Canuckistaniis cannot have the right to let anyone in they want or bar anyone that they do not want. They are an "independent" country sort of when the Queen's appointed Gov General of Canuckistan tells them they can be.

It's probably Minnie's criminal record that is the reason she was refused entry. I was going to look up what she had been convicted of but it is all there in your link. She is not quite the humanitarian that Nelson is.

Default Not a big story

In Sa, this was not a huge story. It is well known that Canada is very strict on alowing convivted criminals in their country. Even ENlson Mandela, when he was President, had to get some sort of special letter from the Canadian Prime Misnister when he went to visit there!

Winnie has been convcted of quite a few crimes, after 1994, thus nothing to do with the liberation struggle. She has been found guilty, amongst others, for being part of a cover up of a murder, and of serious corruption.

And this is the reason why she is not allowed to travel to Canada. The only one here making a big deal out of it, is her.

What I find funny is the musical about her life, trying to depict Winnie as a martyr of the struggle iis hilarious. She is a murderous and power hungry woman, who has marginasied herself through her hate.

Translation: You called someone a racist, were completely unable to prove your accusation, and now are forced to backtrack by changing the subject.
