I'm talking about wasteful suburban sprawl paid for by Toronto taxpayers.

I'm talking about Hazel's blocking of regional public transit.

Hazel has been long-serving precisely because of her ability to fool most of the people most of the time.

Hazel can make all the 'green' speeches in the world. Fact is, Hazel's development record as Mayor of Mississauga is one long list of "anti-green".

So, which do you believe? The heart-felt words of concern for the environment or her actual policy track record?

The old (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) is no worse than hundreds of other small town mayors. They all play the same 'beggar thy neighbour' games and addictions to tax subsidies.

Let see Mississauga survive without tax subsidy support from Toronto.

I'm okay with subsidizing everyone under the sun in this country (I can live with it) but listening to people praise Hazel for low tax rates is really annoying since those tax rates are only possible because the Province of Ontario sucks tax revenue from Toronto and gives it to places like Mississauga (and Thunder Bay, Sudbury and North Bay, etc).

Do the math. Toronto has a $10 billion per year tax loss.

This is precisely the same process the US used to kill to their old cities. I don't want to see Canada play the same short-sighted game of killing/milking the big city to subsidize the suburbs.

No apologies for calling Hazel anything.
