Default Gordon Cambell (sp?)

This man has, in my opinion, single handedly destroyed the Health Care system in BC. He may have "saved" some money but he ended up closing down hospitals and costing people their jobs. He is also suspected of being involved in several scandals which include drug trafficing to pay offs.

Any other BC'ers in here?

Default Not a Canadian but...

As a close neighbor to the South, Campbell appears to have a chaotic style. It's never a good sign when members of the Premier's own party withdraw to become independents as recently happened with MLA Elayne Brenzinger.

Hope things smooth out, or that the party finds a replacememt for Campbell.

Whoa. An idiot to be sure, but your accusation about the drugs is perilously close to slander? or is it libel,...anyway, we are all innocent until proven guilty.
Also, remember a few years ago when it was so depressing to open the paper in the morning, not to find out if Glen Clark had done something stupid again, but rather how monumentally stupid was his gaffe du jour, because a day could not go by when he did something incredibly stupid.
I work in Saskatoon, but my home is in the Kootenays.

Default RE:

Campbell has done a good job, too often in a socialized healthcare system the only answer the left has is "We need to throw yet more money at it". Good policy means trying to reform and do what you can with what you have, not just ignore problems and keep throwing money at it.

You Canadians should allow private healthcare. Right now, the only thing your healthcare system does with its long waits is to send richer Canadians down here for healthcare. So they still get better healthcare anyway, plus it helps our economy.

You don't restrict private education, why restrict private health?
