Default every american should buy a gun!

there is no better feeling than taking a rifle a putting a bullet in a piece of wood 1000 feet away. If you dont own a gun you should definetly invest in one for several reasons.
1. safety- if you are going to get one for only this reason i reccomend a 12 guage shotgun, reason being you can by bird shot for this which if you need to kap a intruder its not gonna fly through the wall and wack little susie in her bed.
2. sport- if you havent fired off a gun before its really empowering. If you are all for animal rights activist and dont wanna off any furry cuddlies, then i reccomend a local shooting range. Surley the piece of wood with a paper target on it wont mind.
3. Revolution- when the democrats finally get what they want and all rights are taken away we can rebel and we will already have weapons to kill them with. (sorry that was a joke...i couldnt resist)

The first reason for owning a gun is legitimate- safety. As for the second, do you really need a gun to feel empowered? that just sounds sad to me.

If I had it my way, guns would be 100% eliminated from the face of the planet, both in the hands of people and government. However, that's not really realistic.

but then ppl would use axes, if u banned those...knives, ban those, sticks, ban those, stones, ban those,....teeth. fact is the only solution for world peace, is to exterminate every single human being from the planet. the only thing thats unrealistic here is your perception on gun control.

take away guns, people will just find other means of killling each other. so now we have established a home invasion will occur with/without gun, well then surely it's comman sence for the homeowner to have a firearm for his/her personal enjoyment, and it's possible deployment it removing undesirable elements fro mthe streets

Are you honestly suggesting that wars fought with axes and swords would kill as many people as wars fought with missiles and guns?
