"If someone asks where the church is, then we ought to be able to answer; there, where people are emptying themselves, making themselves as nothing. There where people serve, not just a little, but in total service…And there, where the solidarity with the fellow man [and woman] is not merely preached, but is actually demonstrated.” – Hoekendijk

You are correct, but in this case what I favor is human life over symbols and peace over battle for the sake of protecting a symbol.

It is NOT worshiped, it is NOT an idol, it is a symbol of this nation, its good and bad, and if anyone wants to say the pledge it is OK to me, for what they are doing is pleding to this nation that gave us so much and that we owe much too.
I don't see that as any different than putting one's hand on the Bible and swearing to tell the truth.

Just those few words tell it all......America is a great Christian Nation on earth.

Those that disagree just to disagree, especially the liberal jackasses, can line up and kiss my prize blue riibbon hogs fat ass.
An idolatrous "Christian" nation that puts symbols and ground before human lives. American Christian warmongers are not better than their warmongering Muslim counterparts.

Send the little twits to some 3rd-world dictator-run country where they will be doing more than pledging.

I don't disagree just to disagree. I disagree because you're wrong.

America is not a Christian nation. It's a nation made of of many people, many of which happen to be Christian. To say otherwise is an absurdly ignorant denial of history.
