What is wrong with a fricking warrent. I see no need to have the FBI bypass the checks and balances of the US legal system.

That's why the original FISA law allows the government to spy without a warrant for up to 72 hours, while they obtain a warrant from a secret court.

That's not enough...?

Yeah, but come on, who were the people? If it was LARA JAKES JORDAN, Associated Press Writer that they were looking into that would be one thing. I am quite sure they were looking into people here in the states with links to terrorists (Barak Hussien Obama comes to mind) which I would have no problem with.

Indeed. I am 100% for warrants in ALL cases where the government wants to spy on a 'Mercan.

Yeah, like the elightened system of laws which didn't allow our intell people in the CIA, NSA, DSA and FBI commuticate with each other which may have contributed to 19 highjackers boarding planes and flying them into buildings?
