I suspect they want US citizens used to seeing regular-looking citizens as possible “terrorists”, so when they arrest one of us (probably me at some point) nobody will ask questions.

Soon just exercising free speech to show disapproval, we’ll be labeled terrorists, and off we go.

Did anyone see 60 minutes last night? There was a German citizen who was a Muslim and was picked up while vacationing in Pakistan. The U.S. was paying a bounty to the corrupt militia in Pakistan to bring in any suspicious foreigners. So these goons just grabbed anyone they could to collect the bounty. The guy was completely innocent, and had never even heard of al Qaeda, but the U.S. held him in a POW camp in Afghanistan, and then transferred him to Guantanimo Bay. HE WAS THERE FOR 5 YEARS. He was declared an unlawful enemy combatant, and was never given any access to an attorney. He said he was tortured regularly.

Sick Neocons love destroying innocent people and taking away their rights.

This new labelling is a problem because now they're saying that the 'terrorists' could look like anyone. Why is this bad? This is bad because now people can just point the blame at people 'Oh gosh, that guys a terrorist' and just mentioning that will put that person into an ever growing world of excrement.

I saw it. It made me sick. The only thing I didn't buy was his not knowing who Al Qaeda was. But the rest sounded like classic Bush-Cheney.
