I think this article abotu sums it up when it comes to Democrats and taxes. Reducing tax rates is ALWAYS the last option. I find it laughable that they want to collect after the fact taxes, even more funny that they think they are doing people a favor by not charging penalties on those taxes that they didn't owe in the first place. A few wanted examples of state policies dems overruled Romney on? Here's one.

none free anyway, the court made the determination a few months ago. This is the first I've read about how the legislature is trying to accomodate the ruling. But the circumstances and the ruling itself is a few months old and the Globe only provides articles over the past 48 hours for free. Hopefully they don't have enough votes to override a veto.
