I think this article abotu sums it up when it comes to Democrats and taxes. Reducing tax rates is ALWAYS the last option. I find it laughable that they want to collect after the fact taxes, even more funny that they think they are doing people a favor by not charging penalties on those taxes that they didn't owe in the first place. this kind of thing doesn't suprise me at all.

Romney is the only one here making a principled and realistic stand. . .

none free anyway, the court made the determination a few months ago. This is the first I've read about how the legislature is trying to accomodate the ruling. But the circumstances and the ruling itself is a few months old and the Globe only provides articles over the past 48 hours for free. Hopefully they don't have enough votes to override a veto.
