Yes, according to CNN the "X" over Cheney was merely an accident. I guess they have the "X" available for all those situations when you would normally need to display a big black "X" over someone's face, and somehow it was inadvertantly triggered .

Not a mistake.....regardless of what they say. A person had to have done it. That person may have done it for funsies thinking it would not go out over the air, but they did it nonetheless.
