I think that Islam is like any other religion, and i must say, that in my country, after every bombing,i get angry and i say stuff like "take them down" or bomb them so they will learn.........but, at the end,i allways remind myself that the palestinians are not all terrorists and arabs the same, and i have to make many of my firends belive it and i remind it to them all the time because they can hardly focus out of the anger after an explosion.....me myself am extremely angry after an explosion, and i must say, that i personelly can't imagine how do certain palestinians have the moral to send kids to kill themselves just so other innocent people get hurt...i reather not touch this subject, sence it makes my feeling overcome my logic....but at the end, islam is like any other religion, and u must remember...that christianity and judaism also borught up people that were racists and vicious to other religions.but have no mistake.....i am not against fighting them......it must be fought so that the world can live without the fear of bombing's in the middle of ur lovely city.

Civilizations develop at different rates. Less than 100 years ago, woman could not vote in the USA. 150 years ago, there was slavery in the USA. Six hundred years ago, the spanish inquisition was killing Muslims.
There are parts of the world that live like humans did thousands of years ago, There are parts that live like some did hundreds of years ago. I personally believe that some parts of the world have just not advanced. What you have is the modern "civilized" world clashing with parts of the world that have not developed to our standards. These terrorists are religious fanatics in the same vein as the spanish inquisition, believe what I believe or die. Religion is a man made creation. It reflects who man is. The same "christian" religion of the inquisition is the same christian religion of Mother Teresa. Obviously the religion can be molded by humans to do whatever their wishes are. So are all muslims terrorists, of course not. Just like all christians are not abortion doctor killers. But there are those men who will make the religion what they want to adhere to their human beliefs. |

but I'm not sure how that added to his point or his post. Does that addition make it somehow that much more objectionable and evil?
For the very reasons that Hard-Driver mentioned, I have become much less of a religious person over the past few years, but hopefully more of a spiritual person. I'm not aware of a religion that doesn't have those within its legions who pervert it with their bigoted and hateful beliefs... not one.
