Just heard myself. Was getting ready to post on this but you beat me to it. Sad indeed. Although I didn't particularly like him because he was corrupt, it is not good when you see this kind of stuff happen.

I'd point out he was in the Marines and earned a Bronze Star for gallantry in combat, two Purple Hearts (in two tours in Vietnam), and retired from the Corps a full Colonel. You may not have liked what he had to say about Haditha but he more than earned the right. You also didn't have to comment.

RIP John Murtha and thanks for your service.

That is the same kind of garbage (not you) I saw when Rush was hospitalized.

And people wonder why half the threads are closed here for flaimbaiting. Some can't even be civil when others take their last breaths. Makes me sick.
