I'm sure we all realize now, after the far-right's passing around the video that they thought was showing Russian's snubbing President Obama that turned out to be Obama introducing the Russian President to the American envoy, that the right is merely projecting their hatred and disrespect for the office of the US President on other people. It's understandable after Bush and Cheney dragged the title of President through the mud.

The context: Obama introduces the Russian President to the American envoy.

What the rightards see: "OMG! Some commie refused to shake Obobo's hand! YES!! That right thar is a dissing! Woohoo! They hate Obama as much as we do! "



However, most rational people, people not blinded by their partisan hate, know that pictures like these are one out of thousands of the same event. The other 999 show the true story while the single picture taken out of context is blown up by the Right and is supposed to be representative.

It's great to have an authentically humble president as opposed to a poseur, isn't it?

It means to me that our nation is a great one. An exceptional nation.

Made up of not only one ethnic people, but of many. Our laws, our constitution, is the greatest governing document that this world has ever seen.

When our nation was created, we told our government only what it could do, not what it can't do.

Our military, economy, industrial drive, medical, hard work, are the greatest this world has ever seen.

Its called humility and its something I think your President understands very well. Theres no country or leader of any country on this earth that doesnt understand America is the biggest economic and military superpower on this planet so whats he got to prove?

Of course America is subversive to other countries. We owe them all money.

We have ~100 military bases all over the world and 49% of the world's military budget.

When our economy collapsed, the worlds economy followed.

When the U.S. went into Iraq, many countries followed. Including several countries that had nothing in connection with the war....but simply want to please us and be our ally for their own gains...yet reflected their allegiance to us.

To think we need a super aggressive and over-compensating President to make us appear strong is in essence having little faith in the fact that America is very talented in bullying it's way to the top.
