I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure. People tell me I'm argumentative, but I beg to differ. All I know is it's bad luck to be superstitious.

Same with every President, no? That's why I said the extent of the blame that lies on him is open to debate. I think it is.

Would we have been better off with someone else in charge? Just playing the odds, I think it's unlikely anyone, no matter how bad, could have been worse. That's not to say Gore or Kerry would have been good Presidents. I will concede that they would not have been. Would they have been worse than Bush? I doubt it. The odds are too long for me to bet that pony.

Fact is, folks are seeing Obama as less favorable. I documented a reason, and asked for alternative explanations contrary to my view. Naturally, you were unable to provide one ... now that's a surprise !
