Current events in Ukraine: removal of government, open threat to take appropriate measures with respect to parliament if it decision isn’t corresponding with president policy (practically, it is a question of dissolution). Well, this situation destroyed the myth of some democracy signs presence in Ukraine and proved the fact of its slipping down to dictatorship. I suppose that the advent of direct presidential government (power concentration in Yuschenko’s hands, in other words) will coming soon. Moreover Yuschenko-Democrat is going to insert moratorium for any decision making and any movements from the direction of legislature or executive power if it encloses the threat to situation destabilization. It is clear, that Yuschenko will determine degree of threat but (!) he will do it after consultations with US’ friends. And as a result of it US advisers will govern in Ukraine. Well, the end is clear: who pays the piper calls the tune and Americans doesn’t want to see Ukraine as a parliament republic because of as a result of it their influence at Ukraine will come to nothing.
