Default Muslim Anger grows over Muhammad cartoon

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4673908.stm

Reports have it that protests have spread across the Muslim world over the publication in Europe of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

Recntly a paper in France tried reason with the nearly bizerko Muslims by printing another cartoon showing " Buddhist, Jewish, Muslim and Christian holy figures sitting on a cloud, with the caption "Don't worry Muhammad, we've all been caricatured here."

Muslims consider it sacrilegious to produce a likeness of the Prophet Mohammad. Well big deal !!! In case you Muslims have not noticed the cartoons were published in non Muslim countries. So you have rules against showing the likeness of your gods and god wanabess good for you. You can enforce that in Muslimville along with all the other innane things that you enforce.

The Western world has apparrently developed further along in civilization and we have something called "freedom of speach". We may not all agree with what someone says but they have a right to say it.

Those cartoons did not demean your prophet it just showed him. Big deal !!
Time you guys joined the real world and realized that in Western countries we have a diverse population and diverse thinking.

Try it !!!! You may even like it. If you do not then stay in Muslimville where you can keep youir own rules. We do not impose our rules on you.
Where do yoou get off trying to impose yours on us !!!!!!!!!

Now they're thretening EU offices in the GAZA !!!!

bleh fundamentalist religous nuts... islam is such a backwards religion, what with the holywars and such.
What they need to do is join the 21st century and declare a boycott like what the jesusfreaks do in the USA.

They would hate David Letterman and Jay Leno then.

Too bad. Thin-skinned Muslims need to get out of the stone ages.

It is a little nutty BUT had it been a depiciton of a Jew as bad...hmm...I wonder if the outrage wouldn't be so belittled?

My bet is probably not.

I don't see how they are that bad, I've seen worse. Sure they show some bad taste, but an apology?

They really aren't that funny either.

The cartoons are mostly puerile. I can see why Muslims might be annoyed. But the push for censorship was over the line. Condemnation, criticism, boycott, sure. Censorship or other official sanction: no.

And threats with guns? Give me a break.

Here's a Muslim's take:
