maybe if we can backtrack just a bit. we are looking for weapons that cause mass destruction, we found one. so we found WMD... i don't see how finding more makes any difference, we were looking for WMDs and we found one. that justifies the war even more. (not that it needs more justification)

Also, if you want Justification for the War in Iraq, they were in violation of Un Resolutions and therefore violated teh Ceasfire that was teh "end" of the first Gulf war. America had Not only a Right but also an Obligation to go in there and lay the law down. Countless Families there have thanked us for doing so. even an anti war Reverand who went to Iraq changed his mind after hearing the cry of the people and now supports the effort there.

The shell is old. fine. The sarin{given the poor quality of Iraq's stuff} has to be newer. Just how much is newer is another question.
The simple existence of this shell means that Iraq's accounting of precisely 170 of these rounds made and destroyed was wrong.
Chances are there are more of them. Its impossible to guess, but the chances of there being exactly one extra round that Iraq hid from the inspectors seems pretty close to nothing....
