Bush's defense was that there are no security issues. If that is correct, then I agree; what is the big deal?

Or is the mere fact that they are Arabs reason enough?

And so Bush will *finally* use his veto power to.... push through a deal to let the UAE take ownership of American ports.

Anyone else find this funny in a tragicomic way?

Anyway.... I'll believe it when I see it. Bush has probably misplaced his veto button somewhere in the West Wing.

No I find it responsible of him to threaten to Veto a baseless accusation based on outright nonsense.
Instead of allowing political opportunists to lie about what is occuring and damage our relations with the UAE for no reason by blocking the deal.
