How do you know that? This conflict isn't over yet. The new governments of both Afganistan and Iraq are not yet stable. There are rebels in both nations right now trying to knock out the new regimes. New hostile governments could easily crop up.

If this doesn't typify the left's stance on this war then I don't know what does. Try not to hope
TOO hard for the terrorists to beat us next time.
It amazes me that to an entire section of our own people, being 'right' in the debate is far more important than actually winning the war. Contribute something other then painting, or in your case,
hoping for the worst case scenario.

Because we have made such a mockery out of the once greatest nation on earth (Yes, US, believe it or not) and we are now the number one ROGUE country in the world, people are not throwing their hands up and saying "no way can Iran have nuclear power" - because everyone agrees now these middle east countries can and SHOULD protect themselves from bullies like us.

If you are so incredibly embarassed of this country, then leave.
And don't bother to talk about how 'this is your country too and it's degenerated, etc. etc.'. That argument is baseless really because folks like yourself can never really seem to find the exact place in American history that our country STARTED to decline. Everything up to the Depression was all about white oppression and the exploitation of the proletariat, The sixties, fifties and forty's were rampant with racism and other ugly deeds, then we got greedy and well, you know the mantra, you'll probobly cover it in your reply.
I've reacted to your silliness enough though. Nanu Nanu.
