Woman ticketed for 'BUSH*T' sticker
(...)
Denise Grier, a nurse at Emory University hospital, was headed home on the evening of March 10 when she saw the flashing lights of one of DeKalb County's finest.
Uncertain of what she had done wrong, Grier pulled over.
"When he approached the car, he had his hand on his weapon, and I was in my nurse's uniform with a stethoscope around my neck. He asked for my license, and then asked, 'Any idea why I stopped you?'
"I said no.
"'You have a lewd decal on your car.'"
She immediately assumed that she was the victim of some shenanigan being perpetrated by her children.
What had caught the officer's eye though was a bumper sticker that read "I'm tired of all the BUSH*T." Other stickers on her car included a crossed-out "W" and "Hillary 2008."
At first Grier, 47, tried to argue whether or not the sticker was in fact lewd. She soon realized it was pointless.
"I'm not going to discuss this any further. Just give me the ticket," Grier told the officer. She then promised they would meet in court.
The ticket is for $100 and under "offense" it says "Lewd decals."
Georgia's Supreme Court struck down a "lewd bumper sticker" law in 1991, after a defendant with a "Sh*t Happens" bumper sticker took the their case to court.

On your mark..
Get set...
Spin!
(note: Substitute the letter "i" for all the "*". This site somehow found that "Bush*t" was pointless profanity. It is, of course neither pointless nor profane. Indeed, it is exactly to the point.)
