mr bush is perceived as being unable or unwilling to take any major step to address the problem. he's returning to a bygone age when all he had to say was 'guest worker program and citizenship' but he doesnt address the current problem of illegal aliens swarming over the unsecure borders and making demands that they have no right to make of us. if mr bush does not listen to laura and/or dick morris he's going to find out that the people that put him in office can also take him (and the party) out. i hope he wises up. pt

I pretty much agree with everything you said. Moreover, I don't think he's unable... more like unwilling.

What's idiotic is, the protestors in the last few marches were all against Bush. If they had any sense they'd realize he's on their side on this issue. Bush bashing is so in vogue they don't realize the puppets they are for the left.

thats odd! the post submitted itself without my comments. everybody's a critic lol. i meant to say that i think mr bush is being put upon by big biz and imo, that's why he's unwilling or unable to do more about the illegals. his pattern is to right himself just before going over the edge, so let's see if he can manage to do it this time.

Default Bush

will serve out his term of office. But few, including increasingly his own party, really care what he thinks. His policies that he created in his first term will continue by inertia. Nothing new will be done even if, as I would guess, the Republicans remain in control of the Congress.

We will simply mark time until January 09.

we will be marking time.

Actually, some of the most productive times in recent years is when govt. did nothing. Consider the second terms of Reagan, Clinton and now Bush.

Default My heart is under arrest again but I break loose

Government doing nothing might be just what the doctor ordered, it is certainly a better alternative than more spending plans.
