Default Kennedy Remembers his "alibi"

Does this guy think we're all STUPID, or what? Now.....Patrick Kennedy says he has an alibi who can vouch for his claim that he was "not drinking." So.....he conviently remembers his alibi; but apparently nothing else that happened that night. Capitol police have said he smelled of alcohol and had red, watery eyes.

Kennedy claims this woman was at his house with him and pleaded with him not to go and is sorry she wasn't able to get him to not leave.

Ahhh.....with the Kennedys it's "always someone else's fault."

The claim that Kennedy smelled like alchohol came from someone who was never at the scene of the inncident. No one who was there claimed they smelled alcohol.

It would make sense that he remembered what happened before the drugs took effect wouldn't it?

Here's the actual police report, in the handwriting of the officer actually at the scene.

"The police officers checked boxes on the accident report indicating they thought the congressman was under "alcohol influence" and "had been drinking and ability impaired."

You mean just minutes before the crash? His statement was this:

""I simply do not remember getting out of bed, being pulled over by the police or being cited for three driving infractions. That's not how I want to live my life, and that's not how I want to represent the people of Rhode Island."

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/05/wa...d-kennedy.html

Why are you so obsessed with defending Patrick Kennedy, no matter what? Is it because he's a Kennedy....or because he's a Democrat......or both?

Seems odd that a cop would check a box indicating someone was under the influence and then not bother testing him. Not that I really care in the least about this incident, but that's pretty crappy police work.

Here is the neanderthal left's answer to Kennedy and any use of alcohol or drugs;

Bush=bad

Rush=bad

Kennedy=good

Substance addiction from anyone is a horrible thing, but you'll never hear that from the left.

Not odd at all.....when Daddy of the person breaking the law is a Senator!
That's been the entire point: Patrick's received special treatment. There's no doubt about it.

Neither. It's about "doing the right thing." You didn't see me defending Duke Cunningham even though he's a Republican. Some people have obvioulsy broken the law and don't deserve defending, excuses or preferential treatment because of who they are. Patrick Kennedy is one of these.

You've pretty well summed it up.
