Polls
Have you see the latest poll? Why, Bush's low polling numbers are published every day in the one-a-day polls libs seem so enamored with. I've never seen so much polling in my life. Well, here's a clue--there's only one poll that counts, and that poll is called SCOREBOARD. SCOREBOARD is determined only at the conclusion of elections. SCOREBOARD tells you who won and who lost.
I suppose if I'd lost as often as demos have lost elections, I'd be looking at polls, too. I sure as heck wouldn't be looking at SCOREBOARD. SCOREBOARD sucks if you're a demo. But with polls, you can deceive yourself into thinking you won even when you lose.
Demos clinging to polls are like a football team once ranked number one in the "polls" getting their clock cleaned on the field--the polls don't mean a thing. The only thing that counts is SCOREBOARD. So, if it makes you feel good, cling to your polls, demos. But remember, the game won't be played until November, and based on several previous games in which you've already played and lost, I wouldn't get my hopes up. Your team still has the same old players it’s had every time it’s played and lost. What makes you think this year's game will be any different than all the previous games you've played and lost?
