So, here's roughly the timeline on the Haditha thing:

November 19 '05 - the alleged atrocitiy occurs
November 20 '05 - mil says roadside bomb killed civilians
January '06 - journalism student Taher Thabet passes videos to Iraqi civil rights group
February 10 '06 - reporters break the story after videos and repeated allegations by Iraqi civilians
Febrary 14 '06 - a US general (Chiarelli) arrives to begin an investigation
March 9 '06 - Chiarelli directs further investigation by NCIS
March 11 '06 - Bushie finds out about it from Steve Hadley
March 19 '06 - Time magazine reports the investigation
March 27 '06 - Time reports further allegations that civilians were shot, not killed by a bomb
April 7 '06 - Three officers (Chessani, McConnell, and Kimber) are relieved of command
May 28 '06 - Murtha (on ABC) says lack of admin response is outrageous
May 30 '06 - Iraqi PM al-Maliki decries "excuses" and "mistakes in US investigation
June 1 '06 - Bushie claims he is troubled and pledges to make results public

Does anything about this timeline strike you as noteworthy?

Well if I was dumb enough to buy into your being a conservative then I'd be dumb enough to buy into Murtha doing anything more then making news for himself.

But dang I'm not that dumb..luckily you have Apotropoxy and the rest to believe everything you claim at face value.

Hey nonsqtr, when us "true" conservatives take over do you think we could finally reduce the size of government that Duh and his neocon buddies tripled in size? I'd also like to talk about the open borders, I think I have a few good ideas about that.
